  • Do you accept clients who live outside of New York State?
As a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am only permitted to serve New York State residents.
  • Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance. This allows me the flexibility to tailor sessions to your individual needs, without the restrictions that insurance companies often place on therapy. For example, a session might include both exploring distorted thinking patterns and making a concrete to-do list—something that doesn’t always fit neatly into a medical model or required treatment plan. By operating outside of those constraints, I can provide therapy that is more collaborative, practical, and attuned to your unique ADHD-related challenges. That said, many of my clients are successful in getting reimbursed for sessions through their out-of-network benefits. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it’s possible that services may be covered in full or in part. To find out if you have out-of-network coverage for psychotherapy services, I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking the following questions: Does my plan include out-of-network mental health benefits? Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it? What percentage of each session will be reimbursed (e.g., 70%, 80%)? Is there a limit to the number of sessions per calendar year? Do I need prior authorization for out-of-network mental health services? If you do have coverage, I can provide you with a monthly "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
You must notify me at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment, or you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
  • How will I be billed?
You will be billed at the time of service. I accept cash, check or venmo. Please note I do not accept credit cards. I am happy to provide you with a superbill at the end of each month to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement of out-of-network benefits. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part if you have out of network benefits. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates for psychotherapy services.
  • Do you diagnose patients?
Field Connection does not diagnose patients. Always check with your physician before making medical decisions.
  • Will everything I share in therapy remain confidential?
As your trusted therapist, our conversations are confidential unless someone's life or safety is in danger, or you specifically request that I share your information with someone else.
  • How do I get started?
Schedule a free 15-minute complementary phone consultation with me. I'll explain my services and answer any questions you may have. If you and I agree that we are a good fit, we will schedule an initial intake appointment.
